In Climate Technologies, the vision is to develop solutions for emerging businesses that have a direct impact on addressing climate change. We stay on course towards being Plusstainable(bold) by leveraging the immense potential of thermal energy storage using Phase Change Materials (PCM) technology .
Incepted in 2022, Climate Technologies focuses on addressing problems that impact climate change. The two challenges that this vertical has taken up are market led demand which have scalable impact.
The first challenge is decarbonizing heating & cooling using passive means of storing thermal energy and harnessing it to utilise renewable energy or reducing thermal inefficiencies.
The second challenge is to develop thermal management solutions by focussing on impact of efficiency-increasing and heat-removing potential in tiny printed circuit board (PCB) chips, li-ion batteries and power electronics. Thermal management plays a crucial role in enhancing energy performance, life-cycle and safety.
Climate Technologies leverages Pluss’ core competency in the area of Phase Change Materials (PCM) and application engineering.
